Life-giving vs. Life-saving (Soccer Video)

I'll never forget the first time I saw the term "life-giving" instead of the usual "life-saving" phrase.

It was when I read my Grandpa's obituary and saw that he thanked the anonymous donor of his "life-giving" kidney.

What a beautiful, yet drastically different shift in perspective.

Here's a great video of some soccer fans who were given life through organ donations - which only happened because an agency made donating organs socially acceptable - and even cool - through the perspective of living on as an immortal fan of the soccer club, Recife.

It is amazing how a perspective shift can change the world by creating a new perception of a taboo topic.
